F00723 Obesity & Cardiovascular Disease Trial
Are you suffering from obesity with associated cardiovascular disease and struggling to lose weight? Fusion Clinical Research may be looking for you to participate in a new clinical trial!
This trial is for people with excess weight who have heart disease. The study will test how well the investigational medicine (the medicine being studied) works for weight management and whether this improves heart outcomes.
The study will run for a total of 113 weeks, comprised of:
- Screening Visit 1 and Visit 2
- Day 1 (dosing day) – Visit 3
- Site clinic visits every 4 weeks for 104 weeks (including dose escalation for the first 16 weeks only)
- End of Study visit 4 weeks after the last dose administration
Between site clinic visits participants will self-administer their study drug at home once weekly via subcutaneous injection.
There will be no overnight stays for this study.

Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18+
- Sex:
- BMI: ≥35 kg/m2
- Medical History: Have established CV disease with at least 1 of the following: a. prior myocardial infarction b. prior ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke, or c. symptomatic peripheral arterial disease evidenced by i. intermittent claudication with ankle-brachial index
Payment/Remuneration
- $60 per visit if pass screening and when enrolled on the study (not for the screening visit)
