F03725 – Weight Management Trial
Fusion Clinical Research Norwood
Adults aged 18 and older may be eligible for a clinical trial evaluating an investigational weight management treatment over approximately 76 weeks.
The treatment is a subcutaneous injection into the abdominal (belly) region, administered once weekly.
The study involves 21 visits including screening and telehealth visits.

Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18+
- Sex: M & F
- BMI: BMI ≥30, or BMI ≥27 with high blood pressure or with high cholesterol
- Weight: Must be stable for past 3 months without a change exceeding 5%
- Medication: To take part in this study, you will not be able to take any prescription or over-the-counter medications you take will be recorded during the study. You cannot take medications or treatments for weight loss within 3 months before the study or during the study, unless specifically allowed by the study team. Must not be taking medications for glycemic (sugar) control such as insulin or metformin. Must not have received other GLP-1 medications within the last 3 months such as Ozempic, Mounjaro etc.
- Medical History: If you have any ongoing illnesses, pre-existing conditions, allergies, and prior significant illnesses, will be recorded. We will also collect information about your history of weight-loss attempts. To take part in the study, you must have had at least one unsuccessful effort to lose weight with diet and exercise in the past 6 months. Any prior medical procedures will also be recorded. Must not have diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2).

- 21 visits including screening and telehealth visits
Payment/Remuneration
- $106 per in-clinic visit (14 visits, including Screening), $53 per virtual telehealth visit (7 visits), and $51 per DEXA scan (2 visits). You may also be eligible for up to $30 per fasted clinic visit (14 visits) to cover meals, if you submit a receipt.
