F03825 – Weight Management Trial

Adults aged 18 and older may be eligible for a clinical trial evaluating an investigational weight management medication.
The study will run for either approximately 70 weeks (19 visits), or approximately 190 weeks (36 visits) for those who are pre-diabetic. Participants receive compensation for their time.

Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18+
- Sex: M & F
- BMI: BMI ≥30, or BMI ≥27 with either of the following: high blood pressure / high cholesterol / obstructive sleep apnoea / cardiovascular disease
- Medication: Any medications taken previously, including prescription or over-the-counter drugs, will be recorded during the study. You cannot be undertaking current treatments for obesity or weight loss, including surgery or endoscopic/device-based therapies, unless these were completed more than 6 months to 1 year before screening depending on the treatment (for example, liposuction, cryolipolysis, abdominoplasty, or prior device-based procedures). Must not be taking metformin or weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic or Wegovy etc within 90 days of screening.
- Medical History: You must have a history of at least one unsuccessful attempt to lose weight through diet and exercise in the past 6 months. If you have any ongoing illnesses including past conditions, allergies, and prior significant illnesses, will be recorded. Any prior medical procedures related to weight management, such as surgery or device-based therapies, will also be recorded. Cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding or plan to become pregnant during the study.

Outpatient Visits
- Approximately 19 visits over 70 weeks, or 36 visits over 190 weeks for pre-diabetics
Payment/Remuneration
- Participants receive compensation of $75 per clinic visit and an additional $48 if the visit requires fasting to cover the cost of a meal.
