CM9621 Sleep Disturbance Trial

 1) Glenelg Medical Centre, 724 Anzac Hwy, & 2) Northwest Medical Centre, 1 Park Terrace, Salisbury

If you are struggling to get to sleep, unable to stay asleep through the night or feel dissatisfied with your sleep, then you may be eligible for this trial!

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid that is being trialled to help combat sleep disturbances in people who struggle with sleep disturbance.

Eligibility requirements

  • Age: 18-75
  • Sex: Males & Females
  • BMI: less than or equal to 35 kg/m²
  • Medication: – No previous use of medicinal cannabis – No sleep medications within 4 weeks
  • Medical History: – Currently experiencing a disturbed sleeping pattern or difficulty with sleep – Must not change diet/exercise/supplements for duration of the study – No significant cardiac disease – No history of malignancy – No diagnosis of mood disorder or neurological disorder associated with insomnia – No diagnosis of sleep apnoea or refractory insomnia – Must be fully vaccinated against COVID

Outpatient Visits

  • 3 visits, 7 phone calls

Payment/Remuneration

  • $100 per visit ($300 total)
