You are not eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Medication Use: Recent use of insulin, anti-obesity drugs, certain lipid-lowering agents, or cannabis products.
- Medical Conditions: Thyroid issues, severe heart, kidney, or liver problems, epilepsy, or recent pancreatitis.
- Mental Health: Significant anxiety, depression, or history of self-harm.
- Smoking/Drugs: Current smokers or recent recreational drug use.
- Other: BMI ≥ 40, weight > 150 kg, or recent participation in other clinical trials.

Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18 - 65
- Sex:
- BMI: Between 27 kg/m² and 40 kg/m²
- Weight: < 150kg
- Medication: Participants will be excluded if they: Are taking insulin or other prohibited medications, such as fibrates, thiazolidinediones, or therapeutic omega-3 fatty acids. Have used anti-obesity medication within the past 90 days. Are currently taking lipid-lowering agents or anti-hypertensives that have not been stable for at least 4 weeks. Have used cannabis (medicinal or recreational) or cannabinoid medications within 30 days prior to the study. Have recently taken antidepressants (within 3 months) or drugs that suppress the immune system (within 4 months). Require regular use of over-the-counter medications, herbal remedies, or supplements that could interfere with the study. Have been vaccinated with a live vaccine within 2 weeks prior to the study. NOTE: This list is not exhaustive.
- Medical History: Participants will be excluded if they have a history of: Thyroid disorders, medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), or multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2). Severe cardiac, renal, or liver impairment, including moderate-to-severe liver disease. Chronic or acute pancreatitis within the last 180 days. Epilepsy, recurrent seizures, or other significant neurological disorders. Depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, or a history of self-harm. Obesity treatment through prior surgery. Significant allergic reactions or sensitivity to the investigational product. Genetic dyslipidaemia or severe metabolic conditions. Chronic conditions associated with significant immunosuppression. NOTE: This list is not exhaustive.
- Smoking History: Participants will be excluded if they: Are current smokers, including cannabis users. Have used tobacco or cannabis products within the last 30 days. Test positive for recreational drugs during the screening process. Have a history of substance abuse or dependency within the last 5 years. NOTE: This list is not exhaustive.

- 6 visits over 20 weeks and weekly telephone calls
Payment/Remuneration
- The maximum amount is $468 total if all study activities are completed.
