F02524 – Weight Management Trial
Fusion Clinical Research Norwood
Fusion Clinical Research is seeking participants for a weight management study. If you are an adult without diabetes, you could be eligible to take part. Your participation could contribute to the development of new treatments and advancements in Australian healthcare.
Participants will be compensated for their travel expenses. Eligibility criteria apply to study participants.
Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18+
- Sex: M & F
- BMI: BMI ≥ 30 kg/m at screening, OR BMI ≥ 27 to < 30 kg/m at screening, with at least 1 weight-related comorbidity
- Medication: Exclusions include but not limited to: Use within 90 days medications, supplements, or alternative remedies for weight loss. Use within 90 days medications that may cause significant weight gain. Use within 90 days of glucose-lowering drug(s) approved for the treatment of diabetes.
- Medical History: Inclusions include but not limited to: History of at least 1 self-reported unsuccessful attempt at weight loss by diet and exercise. Exclusions include but not limited to: Self-reported change in body weight > 5 kg within 90 days before screening. Previous or planned (during the study) surgical, endoscopic, or device-based treatment for obesity. Type 1 or 2 diabetes mellitus or any other types of diabetes mellitus (except history of gestational diabetes). History of malignancy within the last 5 years before screening (except non-melanoma skin cancers, cervical carcinoma, or prostate cancer).

- Up to 23 visits including screening
Payment/Remuneration
- $100 per visit
