F02624 – Weight Loss Study
Fusion Clinical Research Norwood
This study is designed for individuals who are overweight with or without a co-morbidity such as hypertension, dyslipidaemia, hyperlipidaemia, or obstructive sleep apnoea. Your involvement could help advance new treatments for obesity-related health issues.
Participants will be reimbursed for reasonable study-related travel expenses.

Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18-75
- Sex: M & F
- BMI: ≥30.0 or ≥ 27.0 with hypertension, dyslipidaemia or obstructive sleep apnoea
- Weight: Must be stable for past 3 months
- Medication: Diabetes medication or medication linked to significant weight gain taken in the last 3 months is exclusionary
- Medical History: Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes is exclusionary Previous or planned bariatric surgery is exclusionary
Overnight Stays
- Nil
Outpatient Visits
- 16 visits over approximately 47 weeks
Payment/Remuneration
- $70 per visit (totalling $1050 if the study is fully completed)
