Fusion Clinical Research Norwood
Adults aged 18-79 who are overweight may be eligible for a clinical trial evaluating an investigational weight management treatment over approximately 77 weeks.
The treatment is an oral tablet taken once daily.
The study involves 22 visits including screening and telehealth visits.

Eligibility requirements
- Age: 18-79
- Sex: M & F
- BMI: BMI ≥30, or BMI ≥27 with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, cardiovascular disease, or metabolic liver disease.
- Weight: Must be stable for the past 3 months without a change exceeding 5 kg
- Medication: To take part in this study, you cannot be taking medications or treatments for weight loss (including injectable weight loss therapies or insulin) within 3 months before the study or during the study, unless specifically allowed by the study team. Must not be taking GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Mounjaro, or similar.
- Medical History: You must have a history of at least one unsuccessful effort to lose weight with diet. Any ongoing illnesses, pre-existing conditions, allergies, and prior significant illnesses will be recorded. Must not have Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. Must not be pregnant, intending to be pregnant, breastfeeding, or intending to breastfeed during the study.

- 22 visits including screening and telehealth visits
Payment/Remuneration
- Participants receive compensation of $100 per in clinic visit, and up to an additional $40 if the visit is fasted to cover the cost of a meal.
